Finally painted the glorious Cthulhu with all the paints Mary got me for Christmas. It was surprisingly easy to make this guy look game-ready, which mostly has to do with how good the model is sculpted in the first place. So if you've got one (from the Reaper minis Kickstarter) don't be afraid to start on him yourself. He was basically 90% drybrushing, 8% washes and only 2% actual detail painting. Oh, and about a half a can of black primer. Here's some pics:
